b2b.store replaces paper for first anniversary

Blog Details

b2b.store, the wholesale-specific eCommerce platform from RNF that works across mobile, desktop and tablet with zero set-up costs, has marked its first anniversary with the news that 50 wholesalers have now signed up to its services.

RNF has also processed orders worth £235 million over the last 12 months across its digital platforms, which are used by the likes of Bestway, Booker and Blakemore, as well as independents and members of buying groups Confex, Fairway Foods, Sterling Supergroup, Sugro and Unitas. This represents 60% year on year growth.

Rob Mannion, founder and CEO of RNF and b2b.store, said: “b2b.store was designed to help wholesalers of all sizes access one of the major growth channels in wholesale - digital - supporting them to provide a more personalised service to their customers.

“The trend towards digital ordering has been gathering pace over the last few years - consistently being the biggest growth channels in the sector - but the arrival of Covid-19 last year accelerated the shift. In response we fast-tracked the launch b2b.store to enable wholesalers to pivot their businesses to sell online and reach new markets in a matter of days.

“Since b2b.store launched 12 months ago, we have processed over 10,000 orders on the platform, and released software updates and new features every month to ensure our customers stay at the leading edge of new developments. For example, several customers are now making use of our translation offer - in partnership with Comtec Translations - to improve services for their international customers, with the platform now being used in seven countries in three continents and more to follow.

We’d like to thank all the wholesalers who became the early adopters of our B2B eCommerce platform and have been on this exciting journey with us.”
