Mars Wrigley and b2b.store have teamed up for the third time to publish a co-branded eB2B Playbook about quick commerce.
The 16-page guide covers a number of topics that explores the growing impact of quick commerce and how it has established itself as a big revenue driver for retailers, thanks to an ever-increasing grocery footprint.
The boom in quick commerce – or On Demand Delivery (ODD) – has been driven by the explosion in popularity of quick commerce aggregator apps, such as Deliveroo and Snappy Shopper, and with stock flowing freely to consumers, there’s clearly large value across the entire supply chain, from brands to wholesalers, and retailers and foodservice operators.
In this eB2B Playbook, we explore the current state of the market, profile the biggest aggregators, pointers on what retailers need to consider before signing up, and provide some guidance on technique that work best on these apps.
The guide is free to download on the b2b.store website and will also be distributed to Mars Wrigley’s wholesale customers.
The quick commerce brochure comes hot on the heels of two previous eB2B Playbooks produced by Mars Wrigley and b2b.store, focusing on WhatsApp usage in wholesale and perfect content.
The purpose is for the partnership to help inform wholesalers about key digital issues and trends, providing them with simple-to-understand context and guidance in order to help them act and improve their business offering.
“Quick commerce has exploded in the past decade, first as a way for people to order takeaways to be delivered to their home and now to get small grocery shops dropped off at their front door,” said b2b.store CEO Rob Mannion.
“This provides an opportunity that many wholesalers and their customers would benefit from being more alive to, so we hope the latest eB2B Playbook will arm them with the knowledge to start making more money from the channel.
“We’re delighted to see the third edition of the eB2B Playbook series published. It’s a great partnership and combines the knowledge we have at b2b.store and Mars Wrigley into guides that really speak to the wholesale industry in order to make a tangible difference.”
