  1. The first day is crucial – WhatsApp delivers high engagement at speed, with most reads coming in the first 24 hours after a message is sent
  2. Nothing does it better – WhatsApp message open rates are comfortably the largest of any B2B communication, dwarfing email with a 188% better open rate compared to email
  3. Hit the target for reads – Targeted audience segmentation is worth up to 11% of message open rates within 24 hours, so mix personalisation in with those entire-group blasts!
  4. Reads are up on Fridays – One-hour message read averages tend to be higher on Fridays than at any other time of the week
  5. Show your best side quickly – When starting a new channel, sending two messages within 24 hours of each other maintains high read rates and reduces the attrition after the first message
