Wholesalers and suppliers were armed with actionable advice to help navigate the adoption of AI in wholesale thanks to a b2b.store webinar.

Attended by dozens of people working for an array of businesses across the FMCG wholesale sector, the half-hour session discussed all the basics of AI and provide tips that can be quickly and easily applied to businesses to prepare them for the influx of new technology.

Among the topics raised in the webinar was data security and how businesses that haven’t considered putting AI practices or policies in place could be leaving themselves vulnerable to information leaks and other threats, while specific AI use cases for the wholesale sector were also discussed.

The session also included a six-point action plan to helping a wholesale business put the first building blocks in place to be ready for AI, with an AI readiness checklist shared at the end of the webinar.

b2b.store has run a series of in-depth AI sessions in the sector in the past few months and recently agreed to be Sugro’s official AI consultant as part of its AI Accelerator programme.
